How to choose
Length depends on the boat: the ideal wave forms at a distance that varies with the hull and the ballast; the 3 ft (90 cm) sections let you adjust it. Handle: a T-bar (Classic) is easy to hold with one hand, a wider one lets you reposition with both hands. The thick rope in braided Poly-E can be gripped in a full fist to pull yourself back up into the wave. All the handles float.
The Classic attaches to the rear tow point of standard inboards. 2025 models: T Bar, Mini Tug. Back to wakesurfing.
Frequently asked questions
Can you use a wakeboard rope for wakesurfing?
No: a wakeboard rope is too long (16 to 24 m) and too thin. A surf rope is 6 to 7.6 m long and is held in a full fist to position yourself in the wave.
How long should a surf rope be?
20 to 25 ft (6 to 7.6 m), adjusted to your boat’s wave using the 3 ft sections.
