Cookies and browser storage
The shop uses neither audience measurement cookies nor advertising cookies. It only stores what it needs in order to work: a session cookie to stay signed in to the customer area (thirty days) and, in the browser’s storage, the basket contents, the wish list of a visitor without an account and the contact details typed into the order form, so that they do not have to be typed again. These items do not require consent.
Audience measurement
To find out which pages are viewed, where visitors come from and where an order is abandoned, the shop itself counts page views and checkout steps, without cookies, without any external tool and without writing anything to the browser. A visitor is recorded there as an anonymous fingerprint recalculated every day, which makes it impossible either to recognise them from one day to the next or to retrieve their IP address. These measurements are used solely for the shop’s statistics and are deleted after thirteen months. This audience measurement, which complies with the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority), does not require consent; you may object to it by writing to the address below.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to its processing and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your customer area allows you to change your contact details and your offer preferences, and to delete your account. For any other request: contact@motorboat74.com. If you encounter any difficulty, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
