Connelly Hydro Towable Tube, 3 Rider

The Hydro is the most versatile towable tube in the Connelly 2027 range: one tube for three riders and four ways to ride, depending on age and appetite for thrills. Large (198 × 213 cm) and built from 840D fabric, it is made to last season after season.

Who is it for?

For families and groups of friends who want one tube for everyone. Younger riders sit, held in place by the bolsters; teenagers lie down or kneel for more excitement.

Four positions, two towing directions

• Seated: three riders side by side, held by the bolsters. The most reassuring position.
• Lying down: three riders on their fronts, separated by the bolsters. More sliding and drifting.
• Straddling: two riders on the centre bolster, ideal for building confidence.
• Kneeling, chariot-style: for a more physical session.

Because it can be towed from the front or the back (Two-Way Tow), you switch positions simply by moving the rope attachment point.

What sets it apart

Its 840D fabric, twice as thick as the 420D used on most tubes, stands up better to abrasion and sunlight. Its Boston and speed valves inflate and deflate it quickly; its covered mesh bottom drains water so it stays light. In the 3-rider range, it is the best balance between the Fun 3 (420D sofa), the Ninja 3 (side-by-side saddles) and the Super Fun 3 (neoprene deck).

What else you need

A tow rope rated for at least 3 riders, so a 4-rider rope; a 12 V electric inflator that plugs into the boat’s battery; a vest for each rider. The peel-and-stick repair kit is included.
