The Quantum is Connelly’s best-value pair of combo skis: wide tails and shallow tunnels for easy starts and smooth turns, with a stabiliser bar supplied for the first attempts.

Who is it for?

For adult beginners from 61 to 109 kg, and for the family boat where everyone has a go at skiing.

What sets it apart

Its adjustable slide bindings fit a wide range of shoe sizes (US 9 to 14); its stabiliser bar fixes onto dedicated inserts and comes off as soon as the skier feels at ease.

Tunnel shape

On this model
Standard tunnel
A concave channel along the whole length, which sets the ski down in the water and gives it grip. It leaves a flatter area between the tunnel and the edge bevel: the ski gains stability without losing grip.

Wide tunnel
It leaves only a very narrow flat strip before the bevel: the ski wants to get on edge by itself. For advanced skiers and buoy chasers in full control of their ski.
Double tunnel
A tunnel within the tunnel: the ski sits deeper in the water and bites harder when it is on edge.
